12-28-24 - Intro and Clarification

Hello. If you were given a link to this site, then you know who this is. Back in 2022, I built a PC specifically to be used as a home media server, Jellyfin initially. Over time, my plans for the PC grew beyond just running Jellyfin and now I self-host other services as well. Earlier this year, I began to express a desire to keep a blog and to self-host a website for that purpose. Now that I'm on vacation, I found the time to actually set it up.

So something I want to do for 2025 is to go to the theater at least once a week and watch a a new movie. From there I'll log on and write about it, along with other thoughts and observations around my life at the time of posting. As to why, I'm not really sure besides just being therapeutic. Over time, I might add posts about other things, maybe like thoughts on a game that I completed a playthrough of or some other hobby, but I'll just have to see what I feel like writing about.
